Senior Software Engineering Team Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced Software Engineering Team Leader to lead high-performing software development teams including offshore contractors in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

This is a key leadership role with responsibility for software delivery, maintenance team development and strategic project execution. You will be joining a collaborative and forward-thinking team of engineers, product managers and delivery experts who are passionate about building scalable innovative solutions that power our global platforms.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead, manage and mentor engineering teams and offshore partners
  • Oversee software development, maintenance and Tier 3 production support when needed
  • Analyze customer and system issues and ensure achievement of service level agreements
  • Partner with Product and Project teams to align tech strategy with business goals
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in coding standards and deployment practices
  • Provide clear progress reporting to senior management
  • Contribute to strategic decisions, resource planning and budgeting

Requirements include:

  • 10+ years in software development including 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Strong technical background in Java, SQL, .Net, C++, Cloud technologies or similar
  • Expertise in Agile SDLC and modern development practices
  • Proven experience managing offshore teams and working across time zones
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
