About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Debtors Clerk to join our team.

The successful candidate will provide strong support for our sales team by engaging in various administrative duties, liaising over the phone and on a face-to-face level.

The key responsibilities include ensuring timely payments from customers, recording transactions accurately, and resolving any discrepancies that may arise. The role also involves building relationships with existing and new customers, representing our company with excellent customer service and communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts and incoming payments in accordance with financial policies.
  • Reconcile personal accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are properly accounted for.
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve client billing issues.
  • Send bill reminders and contact clients to facilitate payment of invoices due.
  • Liaise with coordinators, sales reps, and management to resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Update management reports and sales rep reports to reflect account status and credit limits.
