Head of Medical Strategy Field&Ops Neuro
The Head of Medical Strategy, Field & Operations Neuro will lead the medical strategy for the Patient Value Unit (PVU) and oversee the operations of general medical affairs in Australia.
This role requires a medical leader who can provide guidance and training for the Medical Team and participate in operational provision of general medical activities.
Responsibilities:- Lead the PVU Leadership Team with responsibility for management of the Medical Team within the PVU.
- Develop the PVU Medical Strategy and implement it via the MSLs.
- Oversee overseas developments and implementation of materials and educational programs to advance UCB's medical agenda.
- Manage OPEX budget associated with medical program development and execution.
- Provide medical guidance as part of the PVU Leadership Team and approve all UCB activities.
- Assess feasibility and strategic alignment of unsolicited investigator initiated studies (IIS).
- Minimum 7 years' experience in a Medical function in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in neurology preferred; graduate degree in life sciences, pharmacy or medicine will be considered.
