We are seeking a highly skilled Clean Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality cleaning services across our portfolio.
This is a key role that requires strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. You will work closely with our State Manager and Operations Managers to ensure operational standards and compliance requirements are consistently met.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's cleaning experience and a proven track record in an operations or leading hand role. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, as well as a solid understanding of WHS regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Back-up Emergency Cleaner: Achieve 0% missed cleans by providing backup support to emergency cleaning situations.
- Sick and Holiday Relief Cleans: Manage and fill sick and holiday relief cleans to ensure continuity of service.
- Payroll Rosters and Budgets: Assist with payroll rosters and budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Onboarding and Training: Complete onboarding and initial training for new cleaning crew members during site acquisitions.
- Upskilling Current Crew: Focus on operational excellence through ongoing upskilling of current crew members.
- All Star Training Academy: Champion and manage the Cleanworks All Star Training Academy to ensure all cleaners are adequately supported and trained.
- Toolbox Talks: Conduct toolbox talks across the portfolio as directed.
- Periodical Cleaning: Assist with periodical cleaning tasks as required.
- New Client Contracts: Assist in the mobilisation and smooth execution of new client contracts.
- Company Uniform and Presentation Standards: Ensure all cleaning crews comply with company uniform and presentation standards.
- WHS Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements across all sites.
- General Administrative Tasks: Complete general administrative tasks and provide operational support to the Operations Managers as required.
- Staff Recruitment, Training and Motivation: Contribute to staff recruitment, training, motivation, and fostering a positive team culture.
- Rostering Software: Use and manage rostering software such as Timegate to support effective staff scheduling and shift planning.
- Minimum 1yr Cleaning Experience
- Certificate 111 in Cleaning (Desirable)
- Proven Experience in Operations or Leading Hand Role
- Working Knowledge of Workforce Rostering Systems
- Strong Organisational and Time Management Skills
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Abilities
- Solid Understanding of WHS Regulations
- Able to Maintain and Enforce Grooming and Presentation Standards
- Valid Driver's Licence with Flexibility to Travel
