Senior Property Underwriter

Evaluate property risks and make sound underwriting decisions in line with company standards. This critical role involves assessing property-related exposures to determine suitable insurance premiums.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate property risks to inform accurate underwriting decisions.
  • Oversee a portfolio of complex property accounts to ensure seamless risk management.
  • Pursue business opportunities to drive growth and increase revenue.
  • Determine premiums for new and renewal policies using established rating tools.
  • Craft, issue, and review policy documentation to guarantee accuracy and compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in commercial, industrial, or SME property underwriting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of risk assessment and underwriting principles.
  • Ability to build and maintain broker relationships.
  • ANZIIF qualifications or equivalent (preferred).
  • A proactive, analytical approach to problem-solving.
