Project Support Officer

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of correspondence, briefings, submissions, reports, and returns
  • Coordination and scheduling of project activities
  • Working closely with external stakeholders to minimize impact on project delivery schedules
  • Technical, operational, professional, and administrative activities
  • Procedures, practices, and project management methodologies
  • Analysis of project performance against agreed plans and project outcomes
  • Analysis of project plans and artefacts to ensure compliance with legislative, policy, and regulatory frameworks
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a project environment
  • Relevant qualifications in Project Management or a related discipline
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders and effective communication skills
  • Passion for learning and ability to prioritize and multitask while working independently or in a team
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated planning and organizational skills

Due to the nature of these roles, applicants must be eligible for Australian Defence security clearance.

Our Major Service Provider (MSP) Division is part of a consortium of independent technical partners, including Nova Systems and PwC, supported by specialist SMEs. We share and support Defence's commitment to growing and improving Australia's military capability.

We work closely with uniformed and public service staff to help plan the acquisition and support of advanced military systems and equipment through rigorous analysis, advice, and assurance.
