Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional professional to join our leading Natural Resources sector team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record and excellent numeracy and communication skills.

  • The successful candidate will undertake the day-to-day management of specific transactions, where appropriate being the prime point of contact for the client relationship.
  • They will support and report into senior members of the deal team, undertaking business development initiatives and coordinating, instructing and training junior staff.
  • Liaising with and working effectively with other teams and overseas offices is also essential.

The tasks will be undertaken across a wide range of transactions within the Natural Resources sector, including acquisitions, takeovers, mergers, divestments, capital raisings, and restructurings.

Essential Experience and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong academic record (both at secondary and tertiary level)
  • Excellent numeracy and strong communication skills
  • Relevant sector experience gained within industry or a Natural Resources team at a local or global investment bank, chartered accounting or management consulting firm
  • Experience managing and executing transactions
