Job Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Security Officer in a hospital setting.

  • This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for security-related matters, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to remain vigilant and proactive in identifying potential security threats, and have a strong ability to de-escalate situations when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrolling designated areas to prevent and detect crime, maintain order, and provide assistance to those in need.
  • Screening individuals entering the facility to ensure their identity and purpose for visiting.
  • Responding to emergency situations such as fires, medical emergencies, or other incidents that require immediate attention.
  • Maintaining accurate records of security incidents, including reporting any notable events or issues.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 18 years of age (21+ for armed roles).
  • Prior work experience involving customer service, troubleshooting, and/or managing stressful situations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience in a related field.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license (for driving positions).
