  • Maintain and improve database performance, monitoring query execution plans, indexing, and caching.">
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud database technologies and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.">
  • Participate in code reviews, contributing to the quality and reliability of our software.">

Requirements:

  • Skills and Qualifications:">
  • 5+ years of experience in database administration or engineering, with a focus on cloud-based databases.">
  • Extensive knowledge of relational and non-relational database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB).">
  • Strong understanding of cloud database services, including AWS RDS, Aurora, Azure SQL Database, and Google Cloud SQL.">
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM).">
  • Hands-on experience with database performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization techniques.">
  • Experience with backup and recovery solutions, including point-in-time recovery and multi-region replication.">
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.">
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.">
  • Certifications in cloud computing and/or database administration are highly desirable.">
