The RoleThis is a full-time, permanent role that reports directly to the Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end Accounts Payable functions.
Key Responsibilities- Invoice Processing: Accurately process and enter invoices into our financial system, ensuring timely payment.
- Payment Runs: Coordinate weekly and monthly payment runs, ensuring all suppliers are paid on time.
- Supplier Reconciliation: Reconcile supplier statements, address discrepancies, and settle overdue amounts.
- Vendor Management: Complete vendor credit applications, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Communication: Respond to accounts payable queries from internal and external parties, providing timely and accurate information.
- Administrative Support: Assist with month-end and year-end processing, covering reception duties as needed, and perform other administrative tasks to ensure the success of the role.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record in a similar position, preferably in an accounting or finance environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-volume purchase order-driven processes.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, with experience in accounting software an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Full Australian Work Rights.
