Aerial LiDAR Operator Role

RPS Incorporated is seeking an experienced Aerial LiDAR Operator to join our team in Fortitude Valley. As a key member of our Mapping team, you will be responsible for capturing data using our Lidar Scanners and transporting/transferring this back to our team of Analysts and Client Managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Aerial inspection and data collection
  • Logistics and data management
  • Daily communication with pilots and Mapping Manager
Requirements:
  • Experience or degree in Photogrammetry and/or aerial survey, GIS, survey or related Geospatial discipline
  • Knowledge of computers and technology, including confidence in troubleshooting problems as they occur
  • Preferred exposure to the aviation industry and any associated certifications
