Sydney, New South Wales, Australia beBeeAccountant Full time $82,593 - $110,124

Financial auditors play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and transparency of financial statements for public sector entities. If you have a strong passion for numbers, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting external audits of financial statements alone or as part of a team. This will involve planning and conducting audit testing, identifying the most efficient methods of obtaining assurance required, evaluating misstatements, and concluding whether balances and disclosures are materially correct. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish effective working relationships with clients at all levels.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have obtained or be undertaking full membership of CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand or the Institute of Public Accountants. At least one to two years' experience in external audit of financial statements is also essential. Sound knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, along with experience working in an entry-level supervisory role, would be highly desirable.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking to kick-start their career in financial auditing. As a senior financial auditor professional, you will have the chance to work on challenging projects, develop your skills and expertise, and contribute to the success of our organization.

We offer a competitive remuneration package, including a total remuneration package (including superannuation) from $82,593 to $110,124 per annum. You will also have access to flexible work practices and arrangements, allowing you to achieve a better work-life balance.

In addition to the above, we value diversity and take a collaborative approach to achieving our goals. Our employees enjoy a rewarding and challenging work environment, with opportunities for professional development and personal growth.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
