Speech Therapist Role


Job Summary:
We seek a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team. As an experienced professional, you will deliver high-quality support services to families with children requiring early intervention. Your expertise in child development and communication will empower parents, caregivers, and professionals to build skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement personalized support plans for each family,
* Collaborate with families, caregivers, and professionals to create inclusive environments that promote social participation,
* Use assessments and observations to tailor support options that fit each child's needs,
* Connect children and families with community resources to ensure they can participate in settings and activities they choose,
* Maintain thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals in the NDIA business system,
* Support families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans.

Requirements:
* A degree qualification in Speech Pathology is required,
* Expert knowledge in child development and early intervention along with the ability to identify developmental issues,
* Proven track record building relationships and supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities,
* Comprehensive knowledge of NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
