We are currently seeking experienced professionals to join our retail security team on a part-time or casual capacity. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and patrons of our stores.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work in a variety of retail environments, including liquor stores. You will be confident in your ability to de-escalate situations using verbal communication and body language, and have experience in taking control of situations and supporting retail workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be vigilant to possible swarming incidents
  • Conduct high visibility patrols within the store
  • Instant Incident reporting
  • Report any form of anti-social behaviour to the authorities
  • Operate the key controller on the entry/exit door
  • Intoxication review of customers
  • Ability to Use Body-worn Cameras
  • Reporting incidents immediately after the incident
  • Deny entry under breaches to the RSA in liquor store environment
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Current VIC Security License
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current Police Check no older than 3 months
  • Proven experience in retail security and customer service industries
  • Excellent presentation and grooming standards
  • A Positive and Proactive Approach
  • Passion for delivering professional and efficient customer service
  • Evening & weekend availability are essential for part-time employees
  • Strong written communication skills, including incident report writing
  • Ability to multi-task and work autonomously in a high-paced team environment
