About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join our team at Lamar Johnson Collaborative (LJC). As a key member of our marketing department, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing our marketing strategy, creating high-quality marketing content, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in marketing, a deep understanding of the built environment, and excellent communication and project management skills.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Create high-quality marketing content, including proposals, presentations, and RFQ responses.
  • Collaborate with market leaders and office leadership to pursue new business opportunities.
  • Manage local marketing efforts, including award submissions, internal newsletters, and LJC's design annual publication.
  • Maintain LJC's brand across all marketing channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in design, marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience working in marketing in a professional service field, preferably in the built environment.
  • Ability to coach, lead, and mentor a team.
  • Expertise in leading and producing high-quality RFP responses.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign.
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a creative environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Strong graphic design knowledge in layouts, typography, and marketing language.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
