Providing Personalized Care and Support

At our organization, we specialize in delivering person-centered care and support to individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

The Female Support Worker will provide direct care and support to clients by their individual care plans. This includes assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Additionally, the Female Support Worker will support clients in household tasks including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry. They will also accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social activities, promoting community engagement and integration.

Responsibilities also include monitoring and recording clients' progress, behaviours, and any changes in their health or well-being. The Female Support Worker will administer medication as prescribed and ensure compliance with medication schedules.

Furthermore, they will respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or challenging situations, following established protocols and procedures. Accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided and any incidents or observations is also essential.

Requirements for this role include a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or a related field. The successful candidate must also be flexible to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

A current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) is required. Additionally, a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are necessary. A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and/or National Police Check (or ability to obtain) is also required.
