Turf Maintenance Supervisor

Our team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our Parks & Gardens crew in delivering first-class maintenance of the City’s parks, ovals, streetscapes, and open spaces.

  • Supervising and supporting a team of field staff and contractors in the maintenance of parks and gardens
  • Mentoring team members in best-practice horticulture and turf care techniques
  • Coordinating work programs, spray schedules, and inspections
  • Getting hands-on in turf renovation, fertilizing, irrigation maintenance, and more
  • Ensuring safety, compliance, and a high standard of work across all activities
  • Contributing to a positive, proactive, and collaborative team culture
What You'll Need

Trade qualifications or solid experience in Horticulture, Arboriculture, or Greenkeeping are essential for this role. Strong leadership and team coordination skills will also be required. Additionally, you should have practical knowledge of sustainable parks maintenance and irrigation systems, as well as a keen eye for quality, safety, and detail.
