Job Title: Turf Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead our dedicated team in delivering exceptional turf maintenance services.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position responsible for supervising and supporting a team of field staff and contractors in the maintenance of parks, ovals, streetscapes, and open spaces.
  • You will mentor team members in best-practice horticulture and turf care techniques, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality results.
  • As part of this role, you will coordinate work programs, spray schedules, and inspections to ensure all activities meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • The successful candidate will also be involved in hands-on tasks such as turf renovation, fertilising, irrigation maintenance, and more.
  • In addition to your technical expertise, you will contribute to maintaining a positive, proactive, and collaborative team culture.

Requirements:

  • A trade qualification or significant experience in Horticulture, Arboriculture, or Greenkeeping is essential for this role.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills are necessary to manage and motivate the team effectively.
  • Prior knowledge of sustainable parks maintenance and irrigation systems is highly valued.
  • It's crucial that you possess a keen eye for quality, safety, and detail.
  • A current HR driver's licence (or willingness to obtain within 6 months) is also required.
