The Team

The Storage and Networking team is a critical component of SBS's Technology department, responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of networking and storage systems. As a lead, you will guide and assist the team in implementing best practices, solving complex problems, and ensuring the integrity of data transmission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain LAN and WAN networks, routers, switches, and firewall solutions.
  • Manage storage platforms, ensuring they are monitored, reported on, and maintained in line with best practice processes.
  • Lead the transformation and migration to cloud requirements for the Network and Storage team.
  • Implement and maintain backup solutions, including Veeam and Commvault.
  • Ensure the proactive administration of EMC, Power scale, HP SAN, NetApp, Nutanix, and NAS infrastructure.

Requirements

  • A degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Operational experience with Cisco networking, including Cisco Catalyst 6000 and Cisco Nexus 9K switching families.
  • Knowledge of RIP and BGP protocols, as well as Cisco WAPs, WLC, and ISE.
  • Familiarity with SDN and SDDC technologies and their applications.
  • Strong routing and switching skills, with experience in data replication, snapshots, and virtualization technology.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
