This exciting part-time traineeship opportunity allows you to gain hands-on experience and secure employment in a rapidly growing industry while undertaking a Certificate III Individual Support qualification delivered by ITeC Academy.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A commitment to undertaking the Certificate III in Individual support qualification
  • Able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week (combination of work and study), availability Thursday as this is an allocated study day
  • A big heart - you're empathetic, adaptable and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life
  • A passion to begin your career in the aged care sector
  • Flexibility and availability to work shifts that include weekends, late afternoons and evenings
  • Basic internet knowledge and ready access to the internet
  • Be able to use a computer and have basic digital literacy skills
  • Have basic reading and writing skills to answer assessment questions
  • Own a computer/device to be able to complete course requirements
