Job Title: Advanced Threat Detection Specialist

Job Summary:

The Staff Detection Engineer role involves protecting the company's payments ecosystem and customers from insider and fraud threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced detection rules and automated response mechanisms to identify and challenge threats from internal and external actors.
  • Investigate complex fraud tactics and potential abuse by insiders or privileged users using user, system, and financial data.
  • Contribute insight into evolving fraud trends and insider behaviors to strengthen proactive security measures.
  • Mentor peers on advanced detection strategies and the insider threat lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a relevant field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering or detection engineering, with a focus on insider threat or fraud risk.
  • Experience building, tuning, and operating detection and monitoring solutions.
  • Working knowledge of modern cloud-native architectures and their impact on identity, access, and monitoring.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a proven passion for detecting and responding to sophisticated fraud and insider threats in a Fintech or technology-driven environment. They will be outcome-driven, blending technical acumen with creative threat modeling.
