Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

Work as a valued member of the Northern Water Treatment Plant Maintenance Teams. This is a full-time DIDO position based in Woleebee Creek with fuel compensation provided. Meals and camp accommodation are included.

About the Role

This role involves maintaining and repairing plant rotating and fixed equipment, including pumps, mixers, mechanical seals, and other systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working in heavy industrial environments, particularly with pumps, mixers, and mechanical seals. A strong focus on safety and adherence to processes is essential.

  • Maintain and repair plant equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks and report any issues or hazards
  • Collaborate with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance tasks on rotating and fixed equipment
  • Replace bearings, mechanical seals, and pump alignments as required
  • Document all completed tasks and report any issues or concerns
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a heavy industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of pumps, mixers, and mechanical seals
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Intermediate level computer skills, including MS Office and CMMS
