Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter/ Mobile Plant Mechanic Job Opportunity

The Role:

We are seeking a qualified Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter/Mobile Plant Mechanic to join our team as a Field Service Fitter. You will be responsible for providing quality customer outcomes through diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to our Hitachi earth moving equipment and associated product lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work on heavy duty diesel engines and mobile plant equipment.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance work processes and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) Mobile Plant trade qualifications.
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of construction and/or mining equipment.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously in remote areas.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and diagnostic ability.
