Sustainable Solutions Manager

This role is responsible for planning and executing purchasing of goods and materials to meet both internal and external demand.

  • Coordinate the supply of standard items to meet customer requirements.
  • Check purchase requests against inventory records, or stock on hand.
  • Run daily reports on purchase requisitions and convert as necessary.
  • Create orders on local vendors for specific demand requirements and expedite the orders to meet delivery dates for customers when necessary.
  • Confirm vendor acknowledgements, verifying delivery meets required customer dates.
  • Record order confirmations and late notifications to stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of Supply Chain Management is a must.

Key responsibilities include managing competing demands with the ability to work towards tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

Additionally, you will be expected to:

  • Work independently, in a fast-paced environment while liaising closely with major stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and ensure accurate, on time delivery of customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to meet business objectives.
