Job Title: Senior Project Officer

The role is a part-time, 0.5 FTE opportunity for a fixed-term contract of two years.

The Organisation

Our primary function is to advocate for the community and support workers through Member Services with appropriate Aboriginal health programs based on a holistic perspective of health.

Summary of the Role

Manage all aspects of the project to update the Aboriginal Maternal and Infant Care Skill Set. This includes collaborating with Member Services, RTO staff, industry experts, and other key stakeholders to identify and coordinate resource updates and address changes required to course units.

Coordinate key processes including facilitating stakeholder consultation, collecting and synthesising stakeholder input, and providing regular updates to involved parties.

Additionally, the role involves coordinating project planning, monitoring, reporting, and managing the resources in accordance with funding requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage all aspects of the project to update the Aboriginal Maternal and Infant Care Skill Set.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience working in the vocational education and training (VET) sector.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams within the education or health sector and collaborating with professionals from various disciplines.
  • Experience collaborating with Aboriginal communities on projects or programs, contributing to the design and implementation of initiatives.
  • A requirement of the position is that the incumbent identifies as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent pursuant to the exemption from the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (SA).
