About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at Monash Health. As an Access and Engagement Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to children from 0-11 years and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide seamless coordination of clinical and operational activities, including skills in organisation, planning, and priority setting.
  • Support the intake, triage, assessment, and engagement for children and their families.
  • Demonstrate high-quality assessment of risk and prioritisation and understanding of when to seek support or guidance.
  • Support and facilitate navigation for children and families who do not meet eligibility criteria.
  • Work collaboratively as a member of the Children's Local Service to implement and embed the new program and model of care.
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement.
About You

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to children and their families. You will have a qualification in Occupational Therapy and experience in child development and/or mental health. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
