Process Improvement Specialist

The role of a Process Improvement Specialist focuses on optimizing the efficiency of production processes. This involves analyzing current operating plans to identify opportunities for improvement, developing solutions to operational issues, and collaborating with other teams to achieve cost reduction and quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing current operating plans to determine opportunities for process improvement and workflow optimization
  • Developing solutions to operational issues to reach desired cost reduction and quality improvements
  • Collaborating with Business Analysts to ensure effective implementation of new procedures and processes
  • Conducting cost-to-produce analysis for new products and ROI for new projects
  • Participating in initial phases of new production lines to assist in design for cost-effective manufacturing
  • Assisting with project management and identifying production bottlenecks
  • Leading continuous improvements and operational excellence teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Reducing waste, rework, and cycle times

This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent and demonstrated experience in industrial engineering (ideally 5+ years). The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, advanced MS Office skills, and experience with Process Improvement Programs including PDCA, Six Sigma, Lean, RCA, SMED, and Kaizen.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Experience with Process Improvement Programs including PDCA, Six Sigma, Lean, RCA, SMED, and Kaizen
