Key Responsibilities:- Develop, review, and negotiate contracts critical to our success, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and organizational policies.
- Proactively identify and manage legal risks, providing innovative solutions to mitigate potential issues and safeguard our interests.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, collaborating with specialist teams.
- Lead the legal function support for our public sector industry mandate, shaping and improving legal processes, supporting strategic initiatives, and providing expert advice.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address legal issues and provide strategic guidance that drives business objectives.
- Admitted to practice law in Australia.
- Minimum of 5 years PQE.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; adept at finding innovative solutions to complex challenges; high ethical standards and integrity; a natural desire to learn and explore new ideas, concepts, and technologies; business acumen; ability to mentor junior lawyers, and to foster a collaborative work environment.
