Principal Researcher in Multimodal Data Science

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our dynamic team of researchers working on cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED) and Educational Data Mining (EDM) projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct high-quality research on AIED and EDM projects with a focus on multimodal data analysis and learning at scale
- Lead or contribute to publications and research grant applications, collaborating with industry partners and other stakeholders
- Supervise research students (PhD and Honours) and provide technical support across the projects
- PhD (or near completion) in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Human-Computer Interaction (HCI)
- Demonstrated contributions to top-tier conferences and journals in data mining/machine learning, AIED and EDM, and HCI, with a strong track record of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Strong technical expertise in data mining, data management, machine learning, and human-centred design
- Motivation for working in a collaborative environment that values diversity, inclusion, and excellence
