About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Construction Law Partner to join our team at AFL Recruitment. As a key member of our construction law practice, you will have the opportunity to work with a multi-award winning national law firm that is at the forefront of tech and digital developments.

About the Job:

As the firm's key front-end construction law partner in Sydney, you will have the autonomy and ownership of your own practice, advising on and negotiating all necessary legal documents relating to procurement, structuring, financing, delivery, operation, and management of property developments and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage client relationships, providing practical and relevant advice on front-end construction law matters;
  • Develop and implement business development and marketing strategies to grow your practice and client base;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality legal services to clients;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends, and apply this knowledge to provide innovative solutions to clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in front-end construction law, with a strong technical legal drafting and negotiation skills;
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to provide practical and relevant advice;
  • Proven ability to lead and manage client relationships, and develop and implement business development and marketing strategies;
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently, with a strong desire to build and grow your own practice;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, and contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.
