The primary responsibilities of this position include fitting and machining tasks focused on electrical motors and equipment used in the mining and industrial sectors.

Our workshop division is currently in a growth phase, and this role is vital to our ongoing development.

Key Qualifications:

">
  • Trade Qualification as a Machinist
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a motor workshop environment
  • Ability to identify and rectify faulty and worn components
  • Proficiency in reading, understanding, and interpreting drawings
  • Experience with quality assurance, including dimensional checking and reporting
  • Ability to work to Australian, Industry, and Company standards
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience with flange management and machining
  • Strong commitment to WHS policies and procedures
  • Dedication to compliance and health and safety measures, including willingness to undertake additional training
