Vehicle Remarketing Director

The Vehicle Remarketing Director will oversee the end-of-lease vehicle remarketing process, managing all stages from inspection to final sale.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and develop a team of professionals, focusing on business objectives and performance indicators.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of end-of-lease vehicles: transportation coordination, lease termination, condition inspections, valuation, sales channel allocation (auction/retail), and asset disposal.
- Lead the Australian remarketing function, including people, finances, suppliers, systems, and processes.
- Use data platforms to analyze vehicle condition, resale values, and supplier performance to inform remarketing strategies.
- Maintain and enhance reporting frameworks for internal and external stakeholders to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with operational, sales, technical, finance, and analytics teams to drive continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with operational and financial procedures, including PPSR registration, invoicing, and accurate financial settlement.
- Proven leadership experience managing medium-sized teams.
- Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting vehicle sale benchmarks, damage data, and resale trends.
- Experience working with third-party platforms like auction and damage assessment tools.
- Background in fleet services, leasing, automotive operations, or asset lifecycle management.
- Ability to deliver favorable customer outcomes through effective stakeholder engagement.
