About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established private practice providing Occupational Therapy and Music Therapy services for children and families in a supportive environment.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with a varied paediatric caseload, servicing children with autism, behavioural difficulties, developmental delay, anxiety/depression, and sensory processing difficulties.

You will assess and implement strengths-based therapy plans to support children and families to achieve their goals, working alongside experienced OTs to facilitate groups, provide consulting services to schools, and 1:1 therapy at the clinic and in the community.

This role is open to full-time and part-time applicants, with all levels of experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and implement therapy plans to support children and families
  • Work with a varied paediatric caseload, including children with autism, behavioural difficulties, and sensory processing difficulties
  • Collaborate with experienced OTs to facilitate groups and provide consulting services to schools
  • Provide 1:1 therapy at the clinic and in the community
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration
  • Passion for working with children
  • Effective communication skills
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn and share new skills
  • Working With Children Check
  • Drivers license and vehicle
