Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Frontline Recruitment. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough evaluations of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to identify their needs and goals. You will develop and implement customized therapy plans to improve patients' functional abilities and quality of life. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals, family members, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care and support for each patient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to identify their needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement customized therapy plans to improve patients' functional abilities and quality of life.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, family members, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care and support for each patient.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with legal and organisational standards.
  • Provide guidance and education to patients, families, and caregivers on techniques and strategies to enhance daily living skills and prevent future issues.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Victoria.
  • Previous experience in a similar environment required.
  • Strong assessment and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adaptability, and a genuine passion for improving the lives of others.
