Key Roles and Responsibilities

A highly skilled professional is sought to drive the development of a centralised supply chain function, shaping processes, frameworks, and policies from the ground up. This individual will leverage their expertise in logistics, inventory, procurement, contract negotiation, warehousing, and distribution to drive efficiency, collaboration, and structure across these key areas.

The Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to fuel business growth.
  • Lead supplier management and negotiations across logistics, warehousing, and related services, fostering strong relationships and delivering optimal outcomes.
  • Oversee demand planning, forecasting, imports/exports, and inventory optimisation to ensure seamless operations and maximum efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to centralise and minimise third-party warehousing and distribution, driving cost savings and improved productivity.
  • Utilise ERP systems (SAP) to monitor performance, track key performance indicators, and continually improve processes and procedures.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in supply chain or logistics management, with a focus on strategic development and implementation.
  • Strong skills in supplier management and contract negotiation, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Hands-on leadership style, with the ability to coach and influence stakeholders at all levels.
