The Trades Engineering and Technology Department is seeking to engage suitably qualified and experienced casual teachers to meet expected further growth in 2023 and beyond.
Key Responsibilities- Implement industry best practice and apply current learning technologies and contemporary learning pedagogies.
- Work collaboratively within a passionate team of education professionals to plan, deliver, assess, evaluate and ensure compliance of high quality education and training programs.
- Customise and adapt programs to meet learners and clients' needs that vary from certificate level through to diploma and associate degree levels.
- Vocational experience relevant to the nominated teaching programs.
- Demonstrated excellence or capacity to implement high quality approaches in teaching and assessment, using a variety of learning modes, which respond to diverse student learning needs.
- Demonstrated experience or the capacity to develop learning and assessment resources.
- Understanding of current VET policy and developments and innovative approaches to vocational education and training.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or its successor).
- Vocational qualification in Engineering (Mechanical and/or Fabrication) applicable to Vocational Education programs.
