Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned bid leader to oversee our team's efforts in managing large, complex bids. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in project management and the ability to successfully coordinate and implement the bid process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop compelling proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Manage all aspects of the bid process, from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Lead bid resources in developing strategic deal plans, solution architectures, commercial models, and delivery/service management strategies.
  • Ensure thorough risk assessment and mitigation for all bids, communicating findings to stakeholders and implementing necessary measures.
  • Maintain an auditable record of bid artefacts and documents on company systems.
  • Ensure bid reviews and approvals align with corporate governance requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, facilitating seamless information exchange and understanding.
  • Source bid collateral from authorized business owners and create standardized templates for simpler bids.
  • Evaluate customer requirements and incorporate them into proposal content, collaborating with diverse teams as needed.
  • Monitor the Tender/RFP process and track key dates and information.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in bid management within a technology system integrator or similar organization.
  • Strong background in managing and coordinating successful bids.
  • Demonstrated expertise in researching and collaborating to craft customized proposals that meet client needs.
  • Business acumen and financial understanding.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality of work.
  • Able to utilize key bid systems and tools.
  • Capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across functions and levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry, including competitors and market trends.
