Making a Difference: Maintenance Volunteer

Are you handy and looking for a role that makes a difference? We are seeking a volunteer to assist our property team with minor maintenance and gardening tasks in our dementia specific cottages.
As a maintenance volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work independently and make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. Your tasks may include tidying up gardens, pruning, minor repair or maintenance, changing light globes, BBQ checks, pressure washing paths, painting and lubricating door locks.
While the main tasks are maintenance related, you will have the chance to connect with our residents, providing meaning and purpose to your role.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is available to visit us between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday. Visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
18 years or older
• National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare plus NDIS Worker Screening Check
