Job Title: Senior Research Scientist

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Research Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neuroscience, with expertise in neurosurgery and epilepsy.

The Senior Research Scientist will be responsible for developing and implementing basic and translational research studies in specific areas of research as agreed with the Director.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and independent individual who is passionate about advancing knowledge in the field of neuroscience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement research studies in neurosurgery and epilepsy
  • Work alongside other research staff and students engaged on projects within these areas
  • Demonstrate independent thought, technical expertise, and current knowledge of the subject
  • Supervise technical staff and mentor students/fellows in good ethical biomedical research, data collection, and reporting
  • Liaise with other scientists, hospital staff, commercial organizations, and funding agencies to further the aims of the research programs

Requirements:

  • Doctorate in a clinically relevant scientific field
  • Five plus years of post-doctoral research experience
