Job Title: VP of Corporate Finance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP of Corporate Finance to join our team at SGS Société Générale De Surveillance SA. As a key member of our corporate finance team, you will be responsible for providing senior support for M&A and Equity Private Placement transactions in the Energy Transition sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate new business opportunities and support the execution of M&A and EPP deals in the Energy sector.
  • Hold a key leadership role in the transaction execution process, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Perform complex financial modeling, including valuation and pricing analyses.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality presentations, pitchbooks, and marketing materials.
  • Drive the initiation of new client relationships and expand the business franchise across industries.
  • Maintain strong client relationships during and after the deal execution process.
  • Collaborate with other team members and colleagues from financing business lines locally and globally.
  • Provide guidance and development to junior team members.
  • Maintain strong market connectivity and leverage market intelligence to improve capabilities within the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in M&A or Investment Banking.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with corporate clients.
  • Strong technical knowledge of M&A transactions, modeling, and analytics.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Commercial acumen, strong corporate knowledge, and persistence in addressing clients' needs.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and with teams based in different geographical locations.

  • Internal: staff from business divisions and support functions locally, regionally, and globally.
  • External: clients and prospects.
