Dining services plays a vital role in providing our residents with the best possible culinary experience. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dining Services Associate to join our team at an aged care residence in Glen Iris.
About The RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who enjoys making a positive impact in the lives of others. As a Dining Services Associate, you will be responsible for preparing meals and serving up to 110 of our valued residents. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with food preparation, presentation, and service
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with residents and their families
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
- Restock supplies as required and after meal periods
- Perform dishwashing duties and other related tasks as needed
- Previous experience in a similar role or in a related industry such as hospitality or food service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Pride in personal appearance and hygiene
