The Role

A fantastic opportunity awaits an experienced Practice Manager who can facilitate change, delegate tasks, and drive initiatives that yield tangible results. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the front reception desk and optimizing productivity within the clinic.
  • Designing and implementing efficient staff rosters, overtime, and leave strategies.
  • Liaising with doctors to foster a collaborative practice environment.
  • Managing complaints and implementing corrective actions to enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Inducting and training new staff members to ensure seamless integration.
  • Monitoring and enhancing staff performance and recruitment efforts.
  • Conducting risk assessments and implementing measures to mitigate potential threats.
  • Supporting marketing efforts to promote our healthcare services.
  • Providing insightful business performance reports and forecasts.
  • Leading customer service excellence within the team to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
Background/Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • Significant experience in Practice Management or similar roles.
  • At least 2 years of working experience within the medical environment.
  • Formal qualifications in health administration or Practice Management.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • The ability to motivate and lead a high-performing team.
  • A business acumen to drive growth and innovation.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Proficiency in IT software systems and practice management software.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Experience with Medicare, private billings, and debt collection.
