About the Role

A highly autonomous and challenging opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Conveyancing Specialist to join our esteemed client's Property Division as a Senior Conveyancing Specialist/Property Paralegal Lead. Reporting directly to the Head Conveyancing Lawyer, you will be responsible for managing your own conveyancing practice, overseeing the entire conveyance process from pre-contract review to post-settlement using PEXA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute property projects, including off-the-plan residential developments and existing residential properties;
  • Prepare and review sale contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, banks, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer service;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, laws, and regulations to provide expert advice and guidance;
  • Collaborate with the Legal General Counsel and other team members to achieve business objectives;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies and initiatives;

Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in conveyancing, including off-the-plan residential property projects;
  • Proven ability to autonomously manage conveyancing files from pre-exchange to post-settlement;
  • Strong written drafting and time prioritization skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude;
  • Experience with PEXA and LEAP;
  • A strong understanding of property law and regulations;
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships;
