We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to lead our Fragrance portfolio, driving strategic thinking, innovative design, and goal-oriented guidance to the team. The successful candidate will develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy, integral to our success.
About the role:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Category Manager, Buying/Merchandise Manager, or Account Manager within beauty.
- Experience managing a Fragrance category is highly desirable.
- Desirable background in the Pharmaceutical/Beauty industry, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of government and scheme compliance requirements.
- Exceptional analytical skills to derive valuable insights from complex customer data and present them alongside creative and strategic solutions.
- Profound commercial acumen and extensive financial knowledge within the category management realm.
- In-depth expertise in procurement, category management best practices, and strategic sourcing methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire through influential leadership, fostering high-performing teams.
- Exemplary multitasking and organisational skills, enabling effective management of multiple priorities.
- Tertiary qualification (Business, Finance / Procurement, Marketing or Retail).
