Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Data Product Owner to partner with our data engineering and senior leadership teams to deliver on our mission. As a key member of our team, you'll work with product leadership to define a product strategy, collaborate with cross-functional counterparts, and own aspects of our product verticals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to achieve business objectives and continually monitor and optimize the performance of the data product.
  • Work with data engineering and data analysts to ensure the product scales effectively, handles performance issues, and meets user demands.
  • Complete business scope documents, define user personas, and advocate for impactful changes and future strategies.
  • Balance short-term progress with long-term objectives and establish strong relationships with Customer Success, Engineering, Product, and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Determine users' needs, create technical documentation, and organize supporting content for products.
  • Study product samples and collaborate with product designers and developers.
  • Act as the escalation point for client issues requiring product change resolution and interact with key suppliers and partners.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Over 3 years of experience in product management within consumer web or SaaS products.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data analysis, data governance, and extracting value from data.
  • Familiarity with databases, SQL, and big data tools is an advantage.
  • Experience with product management techniques, including backlog management, defining user stories, and working with Agile or Scrum frameworks.
  • Proven API/Integration experience and comfortable reading API documentation and diving into technical details.
  • Hands-on experience building integrations and developing products using quantitative data.
  • A proven track record of advocating for and supporting the team and experience collaborating with various functions in an organization.
  • Strong desire to tackle new challenges and positively impact users' lives.
  • Experience in the fitness industry is highly advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a technical field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Product Owner certification from a reputable organization.
