Job Title: Container Collection Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled driver to join our team in Launceston. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading returned containers, transporting materials to recycling facilities, and providing exceptional customer service.


About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will possess a valid HR license with experience and have a clean driving record.
  • They will also need to be flexible and able to work on weekends.

This is a casual role working 2-5 days per week, which includes weekend shifts. The right candidate will enjoy a competitive hourly rate and contribute to making a sustainable future possible by transforming waste into resources and renewable energy.


Responsibilities
  1. Driving and operating rear lift collection vehicle
  2. Daily prestart and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
  3. Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities
  4. Complying with all relevant Fatigue Management rules, regulations and training
  5. Maintaining a professional image of the company and delivering high quality customer service at all times

Qualifications and Requirements
  • HR license is a must with experience
  • 7 day roster, must be flexible to weekend work
  • Maintain a clean driving record
  • Committed to safety and a team-oriented mindset
  • Willing to undergo pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol testing
