Container Collection Driver Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and skilled driver to join our team in container collection and recycling. The role involves loading and unloading returned containers, transporting materials to recycling facilities, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a valid HR license, experience, and a clean driving record. They must be flexible to work weekends and willing to undergo pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol testing.

This is a casual position working 2-5 days per week, including weekend work. We offer a competitive hourly rate and a chance to be part of an exciting new scheme of recycling containers in Tasmania.

Responsibilities
  • Driving and operating rear lift collection vehicle
  • Daily prestart and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
  • Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities
  • Complying with all relevant Fatigue Management rules, regulations, and training
  • Maintaining a professional image of the company and delivering high-quality customer service at all times
About You
  • Hold a valid HR license with experience
  • Be flexible to work a 7-day roster, including weekends
  • Maintain a clean driving record
  • Commit to safety and a team-oriented mindset
  • Be willing to undergo pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol testing
