Salary Package

We offer a highly competitive salary package that includes a gross annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $129,948, based on skills, experience, and NESA accreditation. This compensation reflects the value we place on attracting and retaining top talent in the field of Secondary PDHPE teaching.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute your expertise as a Secondary PDHPE Teacher in a regional setting, located halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. The successful candidate will have the chance to work collaboratively with colleagues to create innovative experiences for learners, while developing their own skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate content and pedagogical knowledge associated with PDHPE, ensuring a high standard of teaching practice and student management.
  • Showcase skills in information and communication technologies to enhance the learning experience.
  • Contribute to team teaching and collaborative planning to promote innovative education practices.
  • Develop strong relationships with students, parents, and staff, prioritizing the learning and well-being of each individual.
  • Create a safe and stimulating learning environment that promotes excellence and acknowledges the diverse needs of students.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Possess a current Working with Children Check.
  • Hold registration with the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA).
  • Hold an appropriate degree relevant to the Secondary PDHPE Teacher position.
  • Provide at least 2 references from recent employers.
  • Hold full working rights in Australia.
