Job OverviewWe are seeking an Apprentice Boilermaker to join our Orange Workshop team who is keen to contribute to the continued growth of our business. As a boilermaker apprentice, you will work in a variety of environments, including industrial, marine, mining, and manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Mark precise guidelines for the cutting, drilling, welding, bending, and punching of metal.
- Assemble parts and structures.
- Maintain, repair, and rebuild machinery.
- Use tools such as vices, hydraulic presses, thermal cutting equipment, and rolling machines.
- Perform general hand tool work, including sanding, grinding, cutting, polishing, and drilling.
- Current Driver's Licence (P1, P2, C Class and above).
- White card or willingness to obtain before commencement.
- Punctuality, presentability, and reliability.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
- Commitment to carrying out the apprenticeship and working towards reaching career goals.
- Full uniform, including boots, provided.
