Job Title: Power System Engineer Consultant, Senior

A senior power system engineer consultant plays a key role in designing and developing protection schemes for high-voltage and medium-voltage substations, transmission, and distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robust protection schemes for HV/MV substations, transmission, and distribution networks to ensure optimal reliability and efficiency.
  • Prepare and review relay protection settings, logic diagrams, and scheme drawings in compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough protection coordination studies, short circuit analysis, load flow, and stability studies using industry-standard software (ETAP, PowerFactory, DigSILENT).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in power system engineering design and development.
  • Proficiency in AS/NZS standards and WHS legislation.
